Since its inception, FLIBS has been an essential gathering point for boating enthusiasts, nautical industry professionals, and sea lovers alike. Its influence has spread worldwide, attracting attendees and exhibitors from around the world. FLIBS is more than a boat show; it’s a global marketplace where buyers and sellers come together, driving the industry forward and fostering collaborations.
The 2023 edition of FLIBS promises to be a milestone in the show’s history. With an expansion of the show’s size, FLIBS 2023 returns to its seven iconic locations, including the Broward County Convention Center, Bahia Mar Yachting Center, Las Olas Marina, Hall of Fame Marina, SuperYacht Village at Pier 66 South, and the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina. This expansion will allow the display of thousands of boats and nautical products. Visiting the show for at least two days is recommended to explore all the locations.
In addition, to hosting impressive products and activations, the Broward County Convention Center will serve as the Transportation Hub of FLIBS, offering more than 3,000 parking spaces and connecting visitors with the show’s bus and water taxi services, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free visit experience.
The 2023 edition of FLIBS will showcase the latest advancements in technology. From state-of-the-art navigation systems to propulsion technology and new digital innovations, this is a unique opportunity to glimpse into the future of boating and discover the tools that are reshaping the industry.
As a particularly prominent feature, FLIBS raises the bar again by embracing sustainability and innovation as its fundamental pillars for the highly anticipated 2023 edition, scheduled from October 25th to 29th in the heart of Fort Lauderdale
The Superyacht Village, where majestic luxury yachts shine by their light, will offer an even more extensive collection of mega yachts. Visitors will have the opportunity to marvel at these impressive vessels.
The Broward County Convention Center will host interactive seminars led by industry experts. In this edition, as part of its commitment to educate and inspire attendees, the Show is partnering with prominent conservation organizations to conduct interactive seminars and workshops led by navigation, conservation, and fishing experts. Industry leaders oversee these sessions, including the Marine Research Hub, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission Officers, and the Ocean Rescue Alliance. Furthermore, the Fishing Clinic for Hook the Future Kids, led by Captain Don Dingman, educates young boating enthusiasts about the importance of engaging in sustainable practices early on.
Some must-see highlights:
Tiara 48 LE
In the 2023 edition of FLIBS, Tiara Yachts presents its largest model in the “Luxury Express” series: the 48 LE. This yacht, designed with entertainment and adventure, features a rotating salon module with electric actuation. It offers adjustable swivel seating, and guests can position their seats toward the terrace, aft, or anywhere in between. Outdoor entertainment amenities include a portside deck for easy and expansive water access, a high-gloss teak table, and an electric grill.
The interior greets customers with a well-appointed galley and sophisticated dining area with an expandable seating option located on the portside.
Below deck, comfortable sleeping accommodations for four await, which include an owner’s stateroom as well as a guest stateroom that includes two twin berths that convert to a queen.
The 48 LE is powered by three Mercury 600 V12 Verado engines with joystick control. The boat also features integrated Garmin Marine electronics.
Cranchi Sessantasette 67′ Corsa
Cranchi Yachts is thrilled to announce the expansion of its Flybridge Collection. The range, which showcases the most prestigious models from the shipyard, will soon be complemented by a new addition: the Sessantasette 67′ Corsa.
The Sessantasette 67′ Corsa is derived from the Sessantasette 67′, the flybridge yacht the shipyard introduced in 2022. The differences between the two models are immediately apparent. The Corsa’s superstructure is significantly lighter: the third bridge takes on the typical layout of a sportbridge, featuring an elegant mini-fly without a t-top. This design creates more aerodynamic lines, giving the yacht a sportier character.
The Sessantasette 67′ Corsa boasts an original selection of materials, as seen on the exterior deck. The teak caulking is gray, while the sun lounger and seats feature an elegant interplay of contrasts, with black leather on the vertical surfaces and lighter fabrics on the horizontal ones, all with a discreet but noticeable red trim at the junction between the two tones.
The yacht’s more aerodynamic profile ensures a lower and more stable center of gravity, making it an overall lighter boat. This is further reinforced by the use of carbon fiber in many components, including the elegant radar mast.
Sunseeker
Sunseeker is proud to present its complete line of high-performance luxury motor yachts at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2023. The Ocean 182, which continues its tour across the United States, will be on display, and for the first time, the Predator 75 will be unveiled in a spectacular U.S. debut.
The Ocean 182 embodies the concept of a floating penthouse, offering a new paradigm of space, comfort, and luxury on the water. From its flexible interior spaces to a fully equipped Beach Club with a hydraulic swim platform, retractable gangway, shower, speakers, barbecue, and convertible seating, this yacht combines sophistication and practicality.
As for the launch of the Predator 75, like all Predator models, it showcases a dramatic exterior that provides owners with the perfect blend of tinted glass, carbon fiber, and polished stainless steel, displaying its sporty nature in all its glory. Characterized by its low, curved profile, the Predator 75 stands out with an innovative sliding roof that redefines the industry.
