Lürssen · Six Deliveries in One Year

Lürssen Delivers Six Superyachts in a Single Year, and Tightens Its Grip on the Giant Class

ODISEA, DEEP BLUE, BOARDWALK, O3, NAUSICAÄ and NIXIE, from 75 to 140 metres. More than a third of the world's hundred largest yachts now carry the German yard's name.

Lürssen has closed the most productive year in its history, delivering six superyachts in a single twelve month span, from 75 to 140 metres, each of which has already left Germany to begin cruising.

The figure that reads loudest is not six but thirty. With this batch, more than 30 Lürssens above 100 metres are now in operation, and more than a third of the world's 100 largest yachts carry the yard's name. For a builder that refuses series production, delivering six wholly bespoke vessels at once is less a manufacturing feat than a statement of capacity at the very top of the market, where each hull takes around four years to complete.

Six briefs, no house style

The range is the point. NIXIE, bound for the Monaco Yacht Show 2026, hangs a six metre pool over her swim platform and opens a transom hatch onto a 270 square metre beach club. NAUSICAÄ, styled by the Australian designer Marc Newson, wraps a ribbon of glass around her guest deck and replaces the main salon with a split level atrium.

At the other end sits BOARDWALK, deliberately understated, introducing the yard's first sliding hatch and retractable stairwell. O3 is engineered for expedition range; ODISEA encloses its main salon in full height glass.

"Delivering six yachts in a single year is a remarkable achievement"

Peter Lürssen

For the market, the signal is plain. While series and semi custom builders compete on delivery slots, Lürssen is showing that demand for fully bespoke 100 metre plus yachts runs deep enough to sustain six simultaneous programmes, each drawn from a blank sheet. Two of this year's yachts, unnamed at their Owners' request, push the engineering further: one runs overnight at anchor on battery power alone, another uses electric motor stabilisers in place of hydraulics, a configuration the yard believes is a first aboard a yacht exceeding 100 metres.
