ER 110 Untouchable in profile. A design rendering of the concept.
A 110 Meter Expression of Sculptural Elegance and Oceangoing Capability
Untouchable is a design study, not a signed build. What makes it worth a second look is how far ER Yacht Design has taken it before an owner or a yard is attached.
ER Yacht Design has presented ER 110 Untouchable, a 110 meter megayacht concept with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, developed well beyond a typical preliminary study. It arrives without an owner or a builder attached. Finding both is the point of releasing it.
For an independent design house, putting out a concept at this level of definition is a commercial move, not a portfolio sketch. Untouchable is backed by a full three dimensional model, developed general arrangements, preliminary specifications and propulsion studies, which the studio frames as a credible platform a shipyard could carry toward construction. The reading for a broker or a yard is straightforward: this is pitched as buildable, and every performance number attached to it is a target, not a certified result.

Inside the concept
The interior follows the same restraint as the exterior: light toned natural woods, soft ivory textiles, stone surfaces and warm metallic accents, with indirect lighting worked into the architectural forms. The intent is contemporary and residential rather than ceremonial.
The main salon is drawn on a large scale, with panoramic glazing and a central axis running toward the formal dining space, which keeps uninterrupted views of the sea. The owner's suite reads as the softer, more private register of the same language: a full width sleeping area, a private lounge and extensive glazing.
The owner's bathroom is arranged as a private spa, with symmetrical vanities and a central freestanding bathtub set against the seascape. Throughout, interior and exterior are handled as one composition, with materials, sightlines and lighting coordinated from the salons to the open decks.
A waterfront instead of a beach club
The aft of the yacht is where the concept makes its clearest lifestyle argument. Rather than an enclosed beach club, the design proposes a multilevel waterfront running from the main aft deck down to the swim platform. A swimming pool anchors the upper terrace, with broad stairways descending toward the water; below it, the main beach club opens onto the platform with a full service bar and lounge areas.
Large fold down hull side terraces extend the usable platform over the water and open the stern laterally to the sea, turning it into a broad space for swimming, sunbathing and handling tenders and toys. It is a treatment aimed at evoking a private waterfront resort, and it is increasingly the expected move at this size rather than an unusual one.
"We wanted to create a yacht that does not depend on fashion"
Ivan Erdevicki · ER Yacht DesignAviation, range, and the resale argument
A dedicated helicopter deck is integrated into the aft upper deck, with onboard refueling and defueling proposed to support operations in remote areas. The studio is careful to note that certified operations remain subject to detailed engineering and approval by flag state, class and aviation authorities. Propulsion is a hybrid diesel electric shaft line with controllable pitch propellers, integrated Promas propeller and rudder systems and power take in and take off drive, aimed at efficiency and low noise across a wide speed range.
The stated targets, around 17 knots cruising and more than 8,500 nautical miles of range, are explicitly subject to final naval architecture and machinery selection. The wider pitch is a resale argument dressed as a design philosophy: a "modern gentleman's yacht" built on proportion rather than trend, meant to hold its appeal after more fashionable concepts date. At 110 meters, with a helideck and long legs, it sits between a classic motoryacht and an explorer without committing to either label.
All particulars are preliminary or target figures from ER Yacht Design. Untouchable is a design concept, not a signed build; performance is subject to final naval architecture and engineering. No shipyard, delivery date or price has been announced.
