Saxdor's New 460 GTS Reuses the GTC's Platform, and Opens It Up for Life Outdoors
Ahead of its world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival, Saxdor unveiled details of the 460 GTS, a more open take on the flagship platform it introduced earlier this year with the 460 GTC. The same hull now carries folding terraces, a retractable roof and speeds above 50 knots.
Saxdor Yachts has revealed further details of the 460 GTS, a new flagship unveiled ahead of its world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival, which runs September 8 to 13, 2026. Built on the same platform as the Saxdor 460 GTC, the GTS trades some of that model's enclosure for open-air living, without giving up the technology and versatility the brand is known for.
Saxdor describes itself as Europe's fastest-growing boat brand, and frames the 460 GTS as the latest expression of a philosophy built around experiences, connection and social living on the water. The model expands the flagship line the brand opened earlier this year with the 460 GTC. Saxdor has been part of Malibu Boats Inc., the US listed powerboat group trading as MBUU, since March 2026.
Saxdor's broader push is built on technology too. The brand's Saxdor AI, described as the industry's first AI powered co-skipper, and a Digital Showroom that lets buyers configure boats in a realistic virtual environment, are part of the same push toward a more connected ownership experience.
The detail worth reading past the launch language is the platform decision itself. Saxdor did not design a new hull for a more social flagship. It reopened the one it already had. Four optional sliding glass doors, an aft enclosure and a retractable roof let the GTS move between a closed cabin and a fully open boat, which means the brand is now selling two distinct ownership experiences off a single, shared architecture rather than funding two separate tooling investments. It is the same commercial logic that turned the GTC into a flagship earlier this year, applied now to a different kind of owner.
A shared hull, a more social layout
At the heart of the yacht is a social layout built around expansive entertainment areas and large folding side terraces that extend the available deck space at anchor. Together, they form what Saxdor calls a waterfront entertainment platform, the space the brand is positioning as the GTS's main selling point over the GTC.
Below deck, the GTS carries over the well proven three cabin configuration of the 460 GTC. The forward cabin has a separate shower, and the aft cabin comes with its own head, while USB-C and AC outlets and higher grade materials round out spaces built for everyday comfort rather than occasional weekends.
Performance built for the person driving
Three newly designed helm seats with 360 degree rotation anchor a driving position built for owners who like to be at the helm themselves, whether alone or with a small crew. The yacht is rated for speeds exceeding 50 knots, paired with what the builder describes as responsive handling, positioning the GTS as sporty first and flagship comfortable second.
