Numarine, the renowned builder of luxury long-range explorer yachts, has launched the first 40MXP superyacht, the new 40-meter flagship of its popular XP Series. ‘MXP’ stands for ‘Mediterranean’ Explorer, reflecting the beach-club lifestyle typical of the Mediterranean.
An evolution of the popular 37XP, the 40MXP features a significantly enlarged aft deck with a spacious alfresco dining area, a bar and a lounge surrounding an aft pool with a glass transom, connected to a hydraulic swim platform spanning the yacht’s full 8-meter beam.
Thanks to an optimized hull form by naval architect Umberto Tagliavini, the yacht offers a 6,000-nautical-mile range at 8 knots. Standard propulsion is twin MAN 800hp engines, with an optional Tier III-compliant twin MAN 900hp configuration.
Accommodation is arranged across six suites for up to 12 guests, including a full-beam master on the main deck. Both interior and exterior design are the work of Can Yalman. The tender deck can carry a 9-meter tender and three full-size jet skis.
