Antonini Navi Takes Six Projects to Cannes, Each One a Different Stage of the Same Order Book

The La Spezia yard will show clients everything from a yacht delivered this summer to one still in engineering development, alongside its first entry into the Sport Utility Yacht category. Three separate design studios stand behind the newest projects, a detail that says as much about the yard's approach as any single hull.

Antonini Navi will exhibit at the Cannes Yachting Festival, running September 8 to 13, 2026, with a stand at Vieux Port, Jetée Nord PALAIS 204. Rather than build the show around a single launch, the La Spezia shipyard is using it to walk clients through six projects that span every stage of a custom build, from a yacht delivered this summer to one still in engineering.

Antonini Navi is a relatively young proposition built on old expertise. The shipyard came out of a partnership between Gruppo Antonini SpA, the industrial group based in La Spezia since 1943, and Aldo Manna, a superyacht and management specialist with more than 30 years in the industry. It operates from the Blue Mile, the shipbuilding district that is home to some of the world's most established superyacht builders.

The six projects on show read less like a product line than a cross section of a working pipeline. Seamore 34, a full-custom steel yacht, was delivered earlier this summer. Evo 31 is scheduled to launch in October. Lounge 40 will complete hull construction by year end, with delivery not planned until spring 2029. Light 63 is still undergoing engineering development, a new 35 meter Explorer designed by Hydro Tec rounds out the portfolio, and SUY 110 marks the yard's first entry into an entirely new category. Seen together, the six say more about what Antonini Navi can actually deliver than any single boat would.

Three design studios, no house style

The newer projects come from three separate outside studios rather than one in-house line. Light 63, developed for an Asian client, is a collaboration with Nauta Yachts. SUY 110, the first model in Antonini Navi's new Sport Utility Yacht range, is designed by Fulvio De Simoni. A new 35 meter Explorer for an Italian client carries a design by Hydro Tec.

Working with three different studios on three different projects is a deliberate choice for a full-custom yard. Light 63 is being built for an Asian owner and the new Explorer answers a brief from an Italian client, evidence that Antonini Navi's full-custom pitch already reaches beyond its home market. It signals a yard building around each client's chosen designer rather than steering every owner toward a fixed aesthetic, the trade a yard makes when it commits to full-custom construction over a series line.

What the yard brings to Cannes

Antonini Navi's facilities span over 33,000 square meters of yards, including 4,200 square meters of covered space across two industrial sheds, with four slots dedicated to yacht construction. The shipyard employs more than 200 people, including an in-house technical department with decades of shipbuilding experience, and offers construction of custom yachts up to 70 meters, alongside refitting, after-sales service, superyacht berthing and third-party production.

None of the six projects at Cannes is the headline on its own. Taken together, they are the pitch: a yard that can carry a delivered yacht, a launch, a hull under construction, two designs still on the board and a new product category, all at the same time, without collapsing into one house style. For a shipyard this size, that range across the pipeline is the harder thing to prove than any single render.
