Tankoa Yachts Debuts the T450 Singolare and the T52 Spirit at Monaco, Two World Premieres Built on Opposite Ideas of Life Aboard
The Italian boutique yard returns to MYS 2026 with two world premieres, the 45 meter T450 M/Y Singolare and the 52 meter full-custom T52 M/Y Spirit. One is built to feel larger than its sub-500 GT footprint. The other is built around a full-beam gym that opens onto the sea.
Tankoa Yachts will return to the Monaco Yacht Show, from September 23 to 26, 2026, with two world premieres: the 45 meter T450 M/Y Singolare and the 52 meter full-custom T52 M/Y Spirit. The two yachts share a yard and a show. They do not share a brief.
A boutique builder usually proves its range with one flagship and a portfolio of past work. Tankoa is doing it with two yachts standing side by side at the same show. Singolare is built to make a sub-500 GT hull feel like more space than it measures. Spirit is built around the opposite instinct: turning a full-beam gymnasium into the yacht's defining space, ahead of any lounge or suite.
Singolare: comfort scaled to fit under 500 GT
M/Y Singolare packs just under 500 GT into a 45 meter platform designed around space, comfort and onboard living rather than excess. Cassetta Yacht Designers drew clean, timeless exterior lines meant to read as volume, carried through an infinity-edge beach club, an open-air cinema, a panoramic gym and a sauna. Debora Aguiar's interiors lean toward a warm, contemporary residential feel, and the full-beam owner's suite sits on the main deck, with four guest cabins on the lower deck for family and friends.
Spirit: the gym as the main event
M/Y Spirit is Vitruvius Yacht Design's 52 meter full-custom answer to the same show, led by Philippe Briand and organized around wellbeing, privacy and proximity to the sea. Its full-beam gymnasium opens directly onto an expansive aft terrace with a plunge pool and steps straight into the water, a space Tankoa describes as an extension of the exterior rather than a conventional interior room.
The yacht still accommodates six cabins built around comfort and natural light, and FM Architettura's interior keeps a restrained, contemporary palette that leaves the seascape at the center of life on board. A full hybrid propulsion system, combining conventional engines with electric motors and battery storage, gives Spirit a maximum speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots.
One yard, two definitions of luxury
Tankoa frames the double premiere as proof of its boutique model, the ability to develop very different projects around individual owner briefs while keeping the same hands-on process. Read side by side, Singolare and Spirit make that case better than any mission statement could. One yacht argues that luxury is more room than the tonnage suggests. The other argues it is a gym you would actually use. Monaco will let owners judge which brief they would rather commission.
